Cris Janzen, President, Career Coach and Outplacement Consultant, draws from her background of more than 20 years in leadership, hiring, consulting and coaching roles in a wide range of settings to apply an acute understanding of business and organizational behavior. Her passion is in empowering others with the tools and skills to control their destiny in the workplace, then motivating and encouraging them on their path to success. She believes that there is fulfilling work for everyone, and she has helped thousands of clients achieve their career goals.

Cris holds a BA in Organizational Psychology from Western Washington University, and completed coursework for an MA in Applied Behavioral Sciences from the Leadership Institute of Seattle. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is active in the Lake Washington chapter, LWHRA. She is also a ’94 graduate of the King County Leadership Tomorrow program and donates her time as a member of the Board of Directors and as Board Development Chair for Communities in Schools, Washington State Network.

She has developed and delivered thousands of hours of engaging and enlightening training for adults on a wide range of interpersonal relations and business topics. Working both one-on-one and in groups has helped to develop her unique and effective teaching style. Clients commend Cris for broadening their understanding of possibilities, and then providing pragmatic tools and counsel to create their vision step by step.

As a Certified Facilitator and Distributor for Inscape Publishing, she frequently uses a wide assortment of DiSC-based assessment tools to work with individuals and work teams.   She provides her clients with a strategic foundation and commitment to achieve optimal results through coaching and training, at every level.
